Description

Motherlode of Plagiobothrys jonesii found by Walt Fidler in Rattlesnake Canyon north of the Villager Peak Trail. It took seven camera shots to photograph the entire set of plants; two of those seven shots are shown here from that set. The rest are close-ups.
Carla Hoegen has suggested it is possible that some of the greener young plants are Cryptantha barbigera fergusoniae, including the plant with cotyledons shown in the last photo and the previous two photos. I'll follow up on it to see what it turns out to be.
