wild seedlings. hundreds of them growing in the recently (few years) made garden in the centre strip of te ngae road, amoung the planted natives! I compared the seedlings and adult foliage for looks and smell and they are identical.

One small tree in a mixed grove near the start of the summit road (the road is called "Olive Grove" on Google Maps!)
The species has already been reported from here by Wilcox et al. (2023).
