Description

The Ocotillo is a tall shrub with vertically growing branches that produce leaves when climate has been wetter than usual. During the wildflower season, Ocotillos produce vibrant, red, tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. Ocotillo branches are adorned with spines to protect them from predation.
