Description

I observed a moth which features a feathery antennae. It also exhibited "tented" wings over the body with marbled coloring. Observed in sunny weather

Description

Found gradually moving up an oak tree with a very girthy trunk. Approximately 1 inch in length, with distinctive black bands extending across its eyes and a greenish brown coloration.

Description

This frog was about an inch big. The colors of this frog included shades of brown and green. There were spots on the legs of the frog. On the face was a black stripe across the eyes. The belly of the frog was white with red hues towards the bottom. While being held, the frog pretended to be dead but hopped away once put down.

This small frog was not alone. There were many other tiny frogs around the pond. However this particular frog did not move as much as the others.

Description

found in pond waters on flattened green grass, black stripe on eye, very common, extremely calm for a frog- stayed on my finger and didn't move for about 3 minutes. I was worried it was injured!
