Description

On the Allegheny River, near Templeton PA, from a distance, could not tell if it was a stick or a bird, but with the zoom on my camera, I got in as close as possible to observe this bird on a stump on the river.

Probably as close as I could get to these ducks.I know that one of these was a Mallard.

This pine is unlike any others I have seen in the forest. It's very small like a bush with short leaf needles. There doesn't seem to be any other like it near by.

I could use some help with identification.
