Found on Evergreen Campus. In B lot. Found on fallen branch. Several other species also attached. Soralia present. 46 degrees and raining.
on Alnus rubra bark
found on Acer circinatum trunk at The Evergreen State College parking lot. Weather was around 55 degrees and dry, partially sunny. Plant associations include Gaultheria shallon, Vaccinium ovatum and Mahonia nervosa along with Acer macrophyllum and many conifer trees.

In person the color looked blue-gray and contrasted with the greenish color of adjacent Hypotrachyna sinuosa
