Description

This is a downy woodpecker and it has black and white feathered wings and it stomach is white and its back of his head was red. It was pecking a tree when I found it.

Description

This is a Downy Wood Pecker. It has a white chest and black and white stripes running down its back. It was pecking at a pine tree feeding. Also it has red on the top of its head.

White chest with black and white wings and back. The woodpecker was pecking at a tree to get bugs that live in the trunk.

Description

Groups of small trees along the pond behind the Gorham Police Station. The sun is out with clear skies. The pond water is calm, leaves are being blown around by a gentle breeze. Sounds of leaf blower is heard in the distance as some bird calls.

The stems of this plant seems to be dead. The cottonseeds are still attached to the plant. Growing by the edge of the water to the pond. The pods that the seeds are coming out of are long.

Lower canopy of the tree seems to have no branches or broken off areas where there were some. Pine needles are still located at the top canopy of the tree. Bark of tree has some areas of damage.
