The book "Últimos Refúgios: From Pedra Azul to Forno Grande" was a project carried out under the Brazilian Culture Incentive Law.
Dead, floating in river. Probably 120 cm long, or so. Was being fed on by flies. What looks like a hoof is in the lower right corner of the first image. My best guess would be wild boar.
Juvenile Raccoon eating pinecone seeds. Looks just old enough to forage on its own. It's a darker color the back was nearly black.
Very late in the year for this frog to be out and about, but sunny and 23ºc so why not romp around the river's edge shallows.
