This will be a great addition to my library until @gcwarbler publishes "The Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Texas"

I've seen 7 of them before: Synchlora dependens, Coffee-loving Pyrausta, Green Broomweed Looper (if that's the right one), Yellow Vested, Black bordered lemon, Harris' Three-Spot, and the Southern Spragueia.

I might have geeked out a bit when I saw the cover.
