Brief Walk in East End Nature Park

Went for a brief walk at East End this evening after a long day. A few families were out and about, and a number of dogs were prancing around throughout (all of them were adorable and playful, though some were a bit more round than others). Had to leave early due to the mosquitoes (will bring repellent tomorrow). Noticed that, after the storm, there were many dog, raccoon, and deer tracks on the trails, and I happened to see four white tailed deer (all doe) grazing along the treeline. Sat on a bench for bit, watching the sunset. Mornings and evenings are my favorite times to be there, as there is a very large field which is painted by the suns beams, and the isolation makes the onset of evening equally as lovely, with a lack of light pollution leading to the ability to view many more stars than one might back in the suburbs. There are some nights when the moon is full and so clearly seen that one doesn't even need a flashlight to navigate, the moon being bright enough to guide the way (even leaving well defined shadows).
