Learning to use the software.
I observed a common bushy plant that grows in the undergrowth around here. I took a photo, but apparently, I didn't save that photo, so iNaturalist couldn't upload it. While trying to explain that I saw a bush, I somehow clicked on 'bushtit'.
Oh well, I'll try again when the sun is out.

OK, I managed to upload a couple photos of what I believe to be Juniperus virginiana. I'm kinda figuring out the software. My previous journal entry was the draft I started on my first day, in which I uploaded zero photos. Now, I have a cedar tree uploaded, so progress.
I think that I need better photos if I want people to positively identify anything. Photos being taken with a Moto G Stylus 5G, which is supposed to be a decent camera, though far from professional quality. Should be good enough if I re-learn what I used to know of photography.
I'll get back to that scrubby plant from the underbrush sooner or later.
