Comments

I saw your name on the screen at the end of the day and I was like "What! Sea-kangaroo is here! And I was looking around the room trying to find you but it's not like I know what you look like. I thought about asking someone, but I chickened out.

Posted by belinda about 10 years ago

Haha, I know! I saw your name like a day later. Maybe we should wear hats with our icon animals on them?

Posted by sea-kangaroo about 10 years ago

Where did you see notice about the 'blitz?

Posted by judielaine about 10 years ago

Hm, I guess I don't actually know. I thought I'd read about it in a journal post from grrylfalcon, but I can't find it mentioned in her journal or the San Mateo County project one. So I guess either somewhere else on iNat or maybe by seeing it on the front page of Nerds For Nature.

Posted by sea-kangaroo about 10 years ago

Well I don't know about you but I look like my profile icon animal = )

Yah the Nerds for Nature site has all the upcoming bioblitzes in the bay area: http://nerdsfornature.org/bioblitz/

Some more places to keep track of these:

https://twitter.com/nerds4nature

I, for one, bear a striking resemblance to my icon animal.

Posted by kueda about 10 years ago

Well, my icon is tree-kangaroos, so while there's a strong family resemblance they lack my magnificent tail fin.

Posted by sea-kangaroo about 10 years ago

Thanks for the links -- and i'm delighted to see a blitz coming up where i've been doing King Tide photography. Some more Greco island photos two weeks after this tide will be great to get.

Does the question of icon resemblance mean i have to wear this hat even if its not freezing? I'll melt.
