Description

Lasius sp. copulating. There were lots of them in nuptial flight and many of them were caught in spiders' webs - especially the small Agalenatea redii spiders which were also abundant as can be seen in my observations of them of that day:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/exonie?quality_grade=any&identifications=any&taxon_name=Agalenatea+redii&taxon_id=121779&day=22&month=9&year=2019&order_by=observations.id&order=desc&taxon_ids%5B%5D=&filters_open=true&view=map
Very often, whole mating pairs were caught in the webs
