Description

It seems like Dryocosmus dubiosus leaf and catkin blister gall season (bisexual) is almost over. Usually they are burgundy red when fresh (February and March on the Monterey Peninsula). I kept these for rearing, which was successful ( see https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/206846580 )
