Photos / SoundsWhatDomecaps (Genus Lyophyllum)ObserverstucumberDescriptionIn Quercus berberidifolia duff, near a mossy streambank and woodrat nest. Found ~12 inches from https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/150376184 which appeared to be different in the field, but microscopy looks identical. The cap of this specimen started to turn brown by the time it made it home and the scales, that can be seen in texture in the cap shot, became more pronounced. It also developed a somewhat spermatic odor by that time. Mild taste Believed to be the same as 150376184 |
