Description

Found on fallen alder log, covered in Stereum. I thought it was Naematelia aurantia because of it's parasitic relationship with Stereum, but after doing microscopy, this yellow jelly has tuning fork basidia, and larger septate spores.

Spores 21x9um, mature spores were septate. Basida 2 spored and shaped like a tuning fork.
