Black Drongo (Dicrurus macrocercus)Observer
bindyaDescription
Around five to six black drongos were observed in the open moist deciduous forest among glyricidium branches, climbers, chukrasia tabularis, and bombax plants.
They were found singing in various sharp and loud tunes with rapid flights chasing each other.
Birds like Asian fairy blue bird, red vented bulbul and black naped oriole were also observed in their vicinity.
Weather:- partially cloudy
Speculation:- probably breeding season as I have never seen or heard black drongos singing so conspicuously before this in this forest though it is recorded to be a resident.
