This nest was in a field and so well hidden that we almost stepped on it. When the mother flew away I saw the white tail feathers which made me suspect a junco.

Common Star-of-Bethlehem (Ornithogalum umbellatum)Observer

This is the first year that I have seen these. They have sprouted up next to our building and have flowers that are about 3.5-4cm when open. The filaments of the stamen appear to be very wide although it appears that the stamen may be fused with the petals...it's hard to tell.
