BB found a tired bee, and brought it inside on her finger. (I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee style..) I convinced her that we should let thos lovely lady have a rest with a drop of honey and some water. She showed off her proboscis and had a nice snack.

BB : All of those ants must live underground! Climbing over each other! They looked like coffee! I thought they were a spill but they were ants! They were very very very small. I think they were sugar ants!

Saw a hole in the ground, and noticed that there were wasps in it. Then we saw where the Wasps were going in and out and baby buggy correctly identified it as a wasp nest. We saw lots of paper wasp like material around, but it looked like it had all been broken. BB noticed that they had black and yellow lines with some zigzags. BB estimates about fourteen wasps were there. As BB's mama, with an actual grasp of numbers I actually agree with her. We assume that there are way more underneath the ground. Mama buggy noticed a lot of Beetle wings and other bug carcasses in the area

On a child free road trip, Daddy Buggie noticed this dude trying to cross a busy road by lake lenora caves, coulee city wa. Mommy buggy insisted we turn around and help.. MB may also have had a side interest in finding out what turtle friend was and getting a quick photo op... Having never found a shelled herp before I was more than happy to escort him or her across the road and let it go into the shrubs on the other side near the lake.
