Coastal Plain Witchgrass (Dichanthelium longiligulatum)Observer
celieDescription
Dailey 2040. Spikelet measured 1.3 mm long x .8 mm wide, and is hairy. (Appears that all spikelets were lost from this specimen, however drawing and measurements were taken upon initial review.) Plant not densely tufted, and leaves well distributed on the stem. Internodes glabrous (Key G). Ligule is curvaceous and hairy, 2 mm. Culms branching on upper part of plant. Nodes are bearded with spreading hairs (so not D. curtifolium). Largest leaf measured 47 mm x 5 mm, suggesting Dichanthelium acuminatum group. Dichanthelium longiligulatum is suggested.

I am not sure this is even a Lupinus sp. but that is my guess for now. Could be an Asteraceae.
