Around 10-12 cm. This was dragging a dead moth across my shed floor, not sure if it killed it or not. Dropped it's meal and scuttled off when I started taking pics.

These white ww2 helmet looking things appeared on one branch of a large tree, nowhere else on the whole tree. Some where accompanied with the black blob things, not sure if they relate. When I popped one white helmet off the branch it spurted red powder.
