Species ID confirmed with epigynum.
This is a first BC and Canadian record of this spider documented by a specimen. Nice work on noticing that it was different from our much more common Larinioides.

Collected in small treed area under course woody debris at edge of sports field. 5 or more individuals remained stuck to underside of rolled log. Didn't collect (yet). Wonder what your thoughts are @sclerobunus and @harvestman-man? Something introduced is most likely. Thanks!

Specimen compared to vouchers with males and bar-coded spiders.
Female Dictyna / Emblyna very difficult to ID with very few taxonomic drawings available. Bottom line is maybe I'm wrong:)
These guys are also often collected at similar high elevation sites in BC
