Approximately 5 1/2 feet in height with clusters of pale pink hibiscus-like flowers extending up the stem.
Thick-stemmed with asymmetrical dark-green leaves.

Grew in groups or patches, low to the ground.
Stemless and leaves were heart-shaped and waxy.
Leaves and flowers emerged directly from the rhizomes flowers were slightly higher than the leaves.
Leaves were approx. 3" long and 3" across.
Flowers consisted of two upper petals, and two lower petals with beards near the throat and were bluish-purple in color.
