Description

Found under mixed hardwoods. Faint dirty sock odor in the field, becoming more putrescent a few hours later.

My tentative ID on this was Amanita bisporigera. A. magnivelaris ID given by Kenneth Barbagallo via Facebook (Mushroom Identification Page). Spotted by foray companion Neal Ingram.
