"I found the mossy leaf gall wasp, Diplolepis rosae, on a native rose species, Rosa woodsii, just west of the Sagehen Creek Field Station classroom. I understand that this gall wasp was introduced from Europe recently and it may be prudent to eradicate this single plant infestation (done)."
