Not sure I got the right views. I do have more images, but no better dorsal or good lateral views.
I have no idea what it was doing there. This stream isn't deep enough anywhere to submerge this beast. Maybe it fell down the waterfall just above where I found it--that would explain its injuries. Above the waterfall the stream is an irrigation ditch and might be deeper.
