The Fox was running down our street. Then he cut through a yard heading toward the wooded area across Sprecher.

There is a hawk, I think redtail, that frequents our neighborhood. He was coming to our yard for several weeks in a row. He has not been back for a few weeks now.

Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)Observer

We see red fox in our area. Before there was a house built on a empty lot, we know they had a den under a shed near the drainage ditch in an adjacent yard. They were there with babies for several years in a row. Since the house was built, I am not sure that they return to the den. But we do still occasionally see an adult red fox.
When they were using the den for their babies, we also saw them in a den on buckeye rd. near Sprecher.
