South American Freshwater Crabs (Family Trichodactylidae)Observer

We were at the river in the Valle Tucavaca fishing when we started looking at the smaller things a long the edges with our flashlights. Saw this type of Crab two nights in a row. Under a flashlight in the water is looks light and orange. Out of the water it is much darker. The sifter in the picture is six inches across.

I saw this in my yard. It is the color of a blue morphis but medium sized. I have never seen it before.
