Common Gilled Mushrooms and Allies (Order Agaricales)Observer

This mushroom was found half covered by leaves. While its stalk and underneath was a whitish grey, the top of the mushroom was a light bluish grey color. The mushroom was about three inches tall and four inches in diameter.

This frog was found in the creek. It was hiding along the bank, and jumped into the water when I came near. I found three overall but was only able to catch the one.

The briars had waxy, light green leaves. They had thorns aproximately 1 cm in length, and curly tendrils used to grasp onto other plants.

Poison-ivy was found both on the edges of the forest and throughout the forest. It was scattered in location, but grew thickly where it was present. Of course, I made sure not to touch it!

The larvae was found in a freshwater stream, underneath a rock. It has six legs, large eyes, and three long tail-like protrusions from its behind.
