Hawk--a Cooper's or possibly Sharp-shinned subdued this rail before emerging and flying off with it.

This could be a Sharp-shinned Hawk. The bird in its talons looks like a Rail, possibly a Clapper Rail.

This warbler has a severely malformed beak, though it was hunting and seemed to have adapted. It flew quite close to me, almost landing on my lens.
