Small Milkweed Bug (Lygaeus kalmii)Observer
mcclennynDescription
First spotted on a cultivated Asclepias fasicularis in home garden. It appeared to be on a mature milkweed seed pod near other pods infested with yellow orange aphids. It appears that 2 bugs were connected but they traveled as one when they fell from the plant and landed on the stepping stone.
