Description

Is it a collapsed Lycoperdon? someone else has suggested so.
Found two beside each other under ferns and amongst rocks, soil and leaf litter and never seen them like this before. A few feet away were other Lycoperdons but much much smaller.
Top was approx. 2.5cm, length was approx. 5cm.
The top was found with water on surface but was very dry, paper thin, smooth texture.
Interior was furry, not powdery with thin, matted hair like fibres.

Peel Forest- Fern Walk

Found on log on the ground. The clump had a 6cm width and the trumpets were 1-2cm tall. There were 2 clumps on this log. Could not find anything fresher but we did look.

It's very decayed but around the edges of the clumps the trumpets were a light green/bluish.

There are shots of the clump being cut into which I'm hoping will help. Sorry for the bad phone images.

Riccarton Bush

Guessing Inocybe sp. but really unsure.
On rotting stump, cap was solid, with scaly fibers all over it as well as on the stipe. Browny/cream in colour with dark fibers covering it.

Found this last sunday but didn't have a camera and randomly found it on the ground on tuesday.
It was on rotting wood and possibly on the same log as this observation from what i remember. Is it the same as that ob? the little ones look similar.
