Additional comments? - Wasn’t entirely sure on the ID here but wth that fluffy back of the head it seemed most likely. There was an adult brahminy kite flying around not too far away so I did wonder if this might be a juvenile. I’ve never seen a raptor do this before. It was just resting on the sand when I first spotted it. Though it might be injured but seemed too have no problems flying later.
