The tree is tall with the branches getting smaller as you get near the bottom of the trunk. The leaves are huge with tooth on the perimeter of the leaf but the tooth’s are in a lobed pattern. The tree is deciduous and the trunk of the tree is grooved but the grooves are shallow.

The tree has a medium sized bark with thin branches. The leaves clump together in groups of 3 or 4 and they have berries on them earlier in the season. The leaves have shallow lobes that go upward. The bark is smooth with a grooved pattern in it even though it’s not grooved
