What
Golden-crowned Kinglet (Regulus satrapa)Observer
murraymnDescription
I suppose this may just be a Kinglet, but for now I’ll go with what iNaturalist thinks…jic.
What
Pond Slider (Trachemys scripta)Observer
murraymnDescription
Adding this because if the ID is correct, it would be my first.

What
Hooded Merganser (Lophodytes cucullatus)Observer
murraymnDescription
These 4 mergansers were by themselves, and had no males escorting them like all the others at the lake. Something about them just looked different. When I went to add them to iNaturaist, I stumbled upon Goldeneye mergansers, so I thought I’d label them as such, since it would the first time ever seeing them.

What

Not a great picture (they don’t sit still long), but I finally got a Golden-crowned Kinglet.

What
Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)Observer
murraymnDescription
I thought this was a Red-shouldered Hawk, but iNaturalist’s first selection was Coopers, so I thought I’d post since I really don’t know.

Posting this because it’s our first sighting this fall.
What
Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus)Observer
murraymnDescription
Lousy pic, but amazingly iNaturalist made a possible ID.
What
Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus giganteus)Observer
murraymnDescription
I have a video, but don’t see a way to upload it…not that it’s really needed for this. Have a video of a Koala, but its only the backside up in a tree. :(
