Several sightings by us and our neighbors in recent days/nights in our neighborhood. Some in the cemetery around the Confederate gravesite; one jumped into our backyard and then into the cemetery; one spotted after minutes of screeching crossing Virginia Terrace at Eton Ridge. One neighbor saw one or more kits with parent.

Beautiful red fox. Looked healthy with big bushy white-tipped tail. It jumped into our fenced-in backyard at 306 Virginia Ter. and exited into the cemetery. Our dog went out soon after and barked incessantly when he smelled and then saw it. Fox was unperturbed and hung around the cemetery for 10-15 minutes, sniffing around, stopping to rest and scratch and even coming a little closer to our dog. No aggressive moves though. Did not see any tags or collar. (Our dog will bark at any unleashed dog in the cemetery, so I'm not sure he even knew it was a wild animal.)

Saw red fox trotting along fence behind the Civil War graveyard in Oak Hill Cemetery. We live at 306 Virginia Terrace and back up to the cemetery. From time to time we see a fox either along the fence line at our property line or around the Civil War graveyard.
