I was walking westbound on Odana Road, approaching Dearholt Road (around the 5200 block or so) and saw a Red Fox walking towards me. He stopped, thought about it for a few seconds, then walked across the street. I stood there to make sure he made it across safely. After spending a minute or so on someone's front lawn, he started walking on the sidewalk again, headed eastbound.

We saw a fox on the shoulder of the road while driving on the Beltline - near Old Sauk Road. It looked like he / she was sniffing around for a meal - and appeared in good condition.

Coyote (Canis latrans)Observer

We were driving on Segoe Road and spotted what we believe was a juvenile coyote. He or she was on the center island nosing through trash / scraps. It was hard to get a detailed look because we were driving. The coyote seemed to be a juvenile with large, pointed ears.
