Description

Feeding on a roadkilled Black-tailed Jackrabbit. There were three Ravens trying to annoy it away from the meal. As the vehicles slowed to avoid a collision with the birds, the eagle "flew" the bird about 10 feet off the road. When I drove past the location at 0752 a.m. the eagle had moved the bird an addition 10-15 feet off the road and was still protecting it from the Ravens and feeding.
