2 coyotes howling and yipping at me, my dogs, and several other people hiking in the research park near Oakwood.
I’ve always been aware of their presence in the park (heard them at night, saw scat in the park). This is the first time I’ve seen them. I think development (Illumina on the West end and Exact Sciences on the East end) is really squeezing them into a smaller area.
I plan to forgo the pleasure of hiking there to respect those wild creatures and protect my dogs from an unfortunate interaction.
