A spider on our wall and her egg sac. She's about 2+ inches long. Venomous but not deadly. We were watching her eat that cricket then she dropped it. They are pretty common in the region.
The last photo was another spider of the same species which shows the backside.

It was about 3 inches long and it was beautiful with it's coloring and spikes.
It was walking on a sidewalk in the Government Ministries Compound in Juba South Sudan. It wasn't in a leafy or woodsy setting but there are some trees around.

I live next to a small river and the monitor lizards are all over the place. This one was at least 3 ft. long but I've seen one almost 5 ft long. I had a 2 ft. one on my verandah one day. By the time I got my camera it left.

Day 3. They sometimes go on a tree across the way then they come to the eaves when it begins to get hot and sunny. They get active in the evening and during the night.

I had been seeing yellow bats flying around Bedouin Lodge,then on Tuesday, I saw what I thought was only one hanging in the eaves of my verandah at different intervals . Once I reviewed my photos, I was sure there were two.
