We found this little baby just outside our garage. After a lot of phone calls, we managed to take him to a vet that specialises in bat rescue, and he was then taken to a sanctuary. It turns out it was a little baby indeed.

I was headed to get a sandwish at the common cafeteria of the University in Ancona, Montedago, when I found this little guy standing in the cold, looking like he was dying. I picked him up and brought him back to my office, kept him warm, and after a few hours he was good to go again. The next day he came back to the office to say thank you!

What has been identified as Phaeogyroporus sundanicus by a mushroom expert, I found this in the Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve in Mopani region, Limpopo Province, South Africa. This species is not edible and causes liver damage if consumed.

Juvenile of Ocypode ryderi on the beach of Ponta do Ouro, Southern Mozambique. While ghost crabs are creatures of sandy beaches, living in burrows, they have a pelagic larval phase, swimming in the plankton.
