Pretty sure these are “longhorn bees” but I wasn’t able to find them on here. Is there another name they go by? Several individuals, and many more on similar flowers. In the evening several would gather on a flower and sleep.

Very friendly and curious. Kept looking up at my phone and following me around. Light grayish brown on top, semi translucent legs. Pinkish mouth parts, and a white and black stripe across the face. Their abdomen has two longitudinal stripes with white dots in the middle. ~1cm total length.

Two nests, both on low stubs that haven’t sprouted leaves yet. There were a few dead caterpillars in the nest. The shrub next to them was covered in large caterpillars all eating. Average length ~1.5 in.

This pretty kiddo was found walking around in my room. Smaller than previous Triangulate Combfoot I’ve found. Much smaller abdomen, but similar markings. They were very active and were released outdoors. Body ~4mm
