I am the possible culprit to this species arrival in my garden. I collect seeds and toss them in different locations in my garden beds to see where they thrive. I guess this is the result of that practice! East facing about 6 hrs of sunlight.

Today… I was fortunate enough to witness the snapping turtle that lives in our pond arise from his brumation or hibernation. I thought it was a fitting event to transpire upon such a glorious day!
