Caddo Lake WMA. I can handle most things creepy and crawly, but not these... Something about how they get into these nests of hundreds of them. And they stink, too!
I saw a couple of these this particular year; they seemed to like the Christmas fern not to mention the dampness.

This snake was picked up on the sidewalk outside of the Science building on the Univeristy of Texas at Tyler campus in 2003. The campus has changed greatly since then. Dave Bolanowski picked it up and brought it in. It was raining hard and had been for a few days so it was forced up to the surface. We took the pictures inside because of the hard rains outside.

This was brought to our office by a local resident. It looks like the food item is a gray squirrel.
