I started out like so many, as a birder, but eventually developed an interest in butterflies, which soon became an interest in all insects. Currently, moths and moth larvae attract my attention much of the time, but I am interested in every aspect of the natural world and spend most days from spring through autumn in the field finding and photographing insects (mainly), but also arachnids, plants, herps, birds, mammals, etc..
