I'm mostly a bird watcher but I'm interested in whatever's around me that looks interesting. I try to view my habitation (an urban apartment in a U.S. city) as a micro-ecology. Here in the city things to observe are getting scarcer and scarcer, I believe because of pesticides and herbicides.
