I'm a professional of Veterinary Medicine (2011) and specialize in marine and terrestrial wild animals. Between 2007 and 2010 I was involved in beach surveys, monitoring and rehabilitating cetaceans along the Espírito Santo coast. In 2008 I participated in nest surveys and marking of sea turtles at the oceanic island of Trindade. I am a founding member of the Institute of Research and Rehabilitation of Marine Animals (IPRAM), working on the rehabilitation of seabirds, especially of Magellanic penguins from the coast of Bahia, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro states. I'm Master in Animal Science by Vila Velha University (UVV), and act as a president of IPRAM. In this position, part of my responsibilities is to coordinate the oiled wildlife rehabilitation network in Espírito Santo state.
