I love being outside making new discoveries and I try to identify and learn about everything I see on my outings. And i mean everything ! Worked many years on the water and sailed many thousands of miles to far away places so have had the unique opportunity to explore the flora and fauna of otherwise hard to get to places.
I use EBird for bird sightings and I prefer the challenge of identifying plants on my own. However INat is excellent for just about everything. I especially love it for reptiles, fungi and insects.
