I live in the Dallas, TX area with my husband, daughter, 3 dogs and 1 cat. I left the workforce to become a full-time college student. I have always loved all things "outdoors" - and long for the day when we can move to the country. Meanwhile, I make an effort to investigate every inch of our suburban yard to satisfy my craving for vast open spaces! I am particularly concerned about Native Texas plants /creatures and do not use any pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, etc in my yard. I'm also in my fifth year as a purple martin landlord with an extreme dislike of house sparrows!
