I work as the Eastern Africa Coordinator for the Rangewide Conservation Program for Cheetah and Wild Dog (RWCP) - a joint initiative of the Zoological Society of London and the Wildlife Conservation Society. It is most essentially a collaborative effort that aims to coordinate the conservation of these two iconic species across their entire range and entails working very closely with governments, research projects, NGOs etc to implement regional and national strategies across Africa. It is therefore both a very challenging and ambitious program! The RWCP is endorsed by the IUCN Cat and Canid Specialist Groups.
